  • When is the 2025 Turtle Krawl 5k?
    Saturday, September 13th starting at 7:30 AM
  • Do I have to run the race to participate?
    No! Non-runners are encouraged to register! You will pick up a race packet including your shirt to show your support for the sea turtles!
  • Where is the Turtle Krawl 5K taking place?
    Nance Park 201 N. Miramar Ave, Indialantic FL 32903
  • Where can I pick up my in-person race packet?
    Race packets can be picked up prior to race day at Running Zone (3696 N. Wickham Rd. Melbourne), Thursday 9/11 and Friday 9/12 from 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
  • Can I purchase additional race day shirts and medals?
    Yes, after the race, pending availability.
  • Is there a minimum pace requirement or a maximum time that I need to finish in?
    Officially, no. Non-competitive walkers are welcome at the Turtle Krawl, but ideally, you should be able to keep about a 20 minute per mile (3 mph) pace. If you look at the Past Results, you will see that we typically have a dozen or so participants who take between 1 hour and 1:15 to finish the 3.1 mile course each year, and that is no problem at all. That said, A1A will only be closed from 7:30 until 8:30 AM, so be aware that the road may be open to traffic if you are not able to make it to approximately Mile 2.7 within one hour of the start. The Kids Run also starts in the 8:30-8:45 time frame.
  • Are strollers allowed on the course?
    Yes, strollers are allowed, but running with them is not. We ask that you be considerate and line up toward the back at the starting line.
  • Are dogs allowed on the course?
    No, dogs are not allowed on the course or at Nance Park during the event.

  • Can I get a refund if I choose not to participate in the race?
    Sorry, but all registrations are non-refundable, as explained the terms and conditions you agreed to when you registered. This is standard for all races, sporting events, concerts, etc. Please remember that this is a fundraiser to benefit the volunteer-operated, not-for-profit Sea Turtle Preservation Society. We are sorry that you will not be able to participate in the race for whatever reason but hope you understand that your donation is still very much appreciated. If you cannot participate in-person on race day, the registration becomes a registration for the virtual race.
  • Is there going to be a live race day in Nance Park?
    Yes, this year we plan on having a live and virtual race.
  • When will virtual race packets be shipped?
    Virtual packets will be shipped as soon as possible. For virtual registrations after 8/31, we cannot guarantee your package arriving by race date.
  • When can I pick up my virtual race packet?
    If you selected to pick up your race packet at Running Zone (3696 N. Wickham Rd, Melbourne), your packet will be available during early packet pick up: Thursday 9/11 and Friday 9/12 from 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
  • My shirt doesn’t fit. Can I exchange it for a different size?
    Unfortunately, given our limited quantities for the race this year, size exchanges cannot be made.
